Adeona Mackay

Long Hours Primary Care at Adeona’s Mackay Day Care Centre

Mackay’s dynamic early childhood education centre—exceeding national quality standards.

Nestled in the heart of Mackay, Adeona’s one-of-a-kind childcare centre creates a safe, nurturing, and captivating environment with a calm and inviting atmosphere.

Here we offer a range of child-centered programmes that encourage children to explore and learn. This provides them with the freedom to discover their interests, extend their learning, and form bonds with their peers.

What separates us from other Mackay day care centres is our unique range of programs. This includes a L.O.T.E programme, Auslan sign, music, movement, and self-expression.

Our Mackay day care centre works closely with animals and prioritizes sustainability. We believe that through assisting with day-to-day tasks such as building garden beds, recycling, composting and growing vegetables, children gain the practical skills and confidence to become school-ready.

Our aim is to provide outstanding care and educational programs that empower children to thrive and prepare for the future.

Adeona Podcast

We understand that attending parent information nights is often difficult, however families still want information on theories, research and ideas around raising children as well as specific explanations of the principles and philosophy underpinning Adeona’s practice.

In response to finding a non-contact way to effectively communicate with families, and provide them with the tools and resources they need to better understand and meaningfully engage with their children, the Adeona Podcast: An Early Childhood Journey was born.

Available through our website, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and a host of other platforms, Tracy and Zoe cover a wide range of topics including childcare, childhood development, and parenting with more being added frequently.

Words fail to express our inspiring experience at Adeona. Prior to deciding on Adeona I visited many other facilities. I wasn’t looking for child minding but an early learning environment where my daughter would feel happy and secure. The moment we walked into Adeona I knew I had found what I was looking for. The staff at at Adeona have far exceeded my expectations, my daughter has thrived in their care. She loves Adeona and has always looked forward to attending.

Adeona has been so special for my children. My daughter didn’t have the greatest ability to play with kids her own age before Adeona. My daughter was diagnosed epileptic quite young, I didn’t have the ability to trust anyone to look after her without me before Adeona.

The whole team has been beyond exceptional with her epilepsy care. She is never treated any different but I know she is well looked after. I cannot believe how lucky my daughter is to have all the educators at Adeona who have all been there to look after both my kids. They have been so loving and caring with her and I will miss them immensely. My daughter assures me that she will be back for play dates and fence cuddles.
